A Mezzo folding bike is built around several key design features that set it apart from the pack. Folding is quick and easily mastered thanks to the automatic self-locking catches which provide a safe and convenient way to lock the bike together. Our hinge-free mainframe means less flex and delivers a smooth and involving ride with many of the performance characteristics of a full size bike. Aluminium construction achieves the ideal balance between strength and light-weight. And our standard size components mean maintenance and repair charges are minimised and any future upgrades are simple.
DESIGN
A decade's experience gained designing championship winning mountain bikes has reinforced the value of both real world and laboratory testing to ensure performance and reliability. From the very first computer modelled, hand-built prototypes our extensive ride and revise program has enabled us to perfect the handling characteristics to deliver a first class ride.
Then, before launching the Mezzo, we subjected the first production bikes to a gruelling DIN plus test in Germany. The DIN plus certification test is the toughest lab test available and demonstrates the strength and resilience of our design.
