Description: A wide-ranging, all-terrain, all-year round 700c drop-bar Reynolds 725 steel bike with disc brakes.The Croix de Fer uses Reynolds 725 heat-treated Cr-Mo tubes so that we can reduce wall thicknesses without loss of durability, giving the frame a more springy and comfortable feel over rougher paths, with slimmed down the seat stays to enhance comfort further.Add to this rack and mudguard eyelets and the Croix de Fer has gone beyond its steel 'cross bike origins and has evolved into a more wide-ranging ride, perhaps the most versatile bike we make?
