Racing1 wheels are the top of the Fulcrum® range, in aluminium. Studied for competition at the highest level, they are also the perfect tools on the day of the century rides.
The 26 mm aluminium rim is lightened by special triple milling between one spoke and the next, in other words in those sections of the rim less subject to stress. The peripheral mass is reduced and the inertia too as a consequence.
Furthermore, there are no holes in the rim. This reduces the weight - there is no need to use rim tape - and increases the torsional rigidity and vertical elasticity of the wheel.
The hubs are of the oversize type and are fi tted with adjustable bearings for maximum smoothness and ease of maintenance.
The spokes are in variable-section aluminium and have a special design which improves aerodynamic penetration and reduces the formation of detrimental vortices.
Racing1 wheels are distinguished by the presence of three Fulcrum® design philosophies: 2:1 Two to One® Spoke Ratio, MoMag® e Dynamic Balance®.
